Description
n-Pentane is a natural product found in calendula officinalis and allium ampeloprasum, it appears as a clear colourless liquid with a petroleum-like odour. Less dense than water and insoluble in water. Vapours are heavier than air. It is a straight chain alkane consisting of 5 carbon atoms.
Applications
